Hi, my name is Ben Yiangou and I am a fifteen year old karting driver who has a huge passion for motorsport and cars. I started karting in early 2020 and since then I have obtained the following achievements:
 

• 1st place Brentwood Cadet Karting Championship (x2 winner)

• 1st place Rye House Championship

• 1st place Brentwood All Star Cup (2021)

• 1st place Brentwood Endurance Champion (as part of a team)

• 5th place Bayford Meadows Rotax Mini Max Championship (1st place in the Novice category)

• 8th place out of 70+ drivers Club 100 Junior Super Lightweight Championship, taking place across a number of renowned circuits throughout the UK

• 1st place Buckmore Park 6-hour endurance race (as part of a team)

• 3rd place Brentwood Super League Championship

• 4th place out of 100+ drivers in Club 100 2023

• Driver of the year - Brentwood Karting - 2023
   

However, the highlight of my karting so far is competing in the Sodi World Finals in Paris in 2022.  Not only was this an amazing experience but a great achievement, finishing on the podium in 3rd place.  My focus this year is to continue to develop and hopefully to build on my achievements but most importantly to enjoy what I love doing most.  This will include continuing to compete in the Brentwood Super League, the Lakeside Race League and the 2024 Club 100 Junior Super Lightweight Championship.  I hold a huge passion for winning and a lot of determination to succeed. In the future, my goal is to be able to move into cars and race at a professional level.
